Island Elegance: Your Guide to a Caribbean Vacation

The Caribbean islands are as different one from another as they are from the rest of the world. There are some with white beaches, flat terrain, and low foliage, and others with black sands and high mountainous terrain. There are others that combine these elements or have entirely new ones. No matter which island you visit, there is one element is common: the exotic natural beauty that will take your breath away.

Caribbean beauty is like that of no other, and a vacation to the islands will be the event of a lifetime. You’ll never forget time spent in one of the Caribbean luxury vacation rentals, soaking up the sun and the scenery without a care in the world.

Must-See Islands

The only problem with the Caribbean is that there’s just too much of it for a person to enjoy in a single lifetime. There are over 100 main islands with other 3 thousand smaller ones, and therefore it’s impossible to fully appreciate them all. You can help to make this realization easier by simply choosing the best islands to stay on and visit in the first place. From one of the Caribbean villas, you can only visit so many islands, but you can do your best.

It’s impossible to choose a very best Caribbean island, or to rank one above the other, so this will be a list in no particular order.

The Dominican Republic and Haiti make up one of the biggest islands in the Caribbean, Hispaniola. If you like seeing new cultures while getting all the beach air and scenery you can, then there two countries are the places to go.

Jamaica is another big island (not nearly as big as Hispaniola, though) with lush terrain, beautiful beach and mainland sights, and a great deal to do. The Caribbean villas on this island are particularly good.

Anguilla has beaches that top lists all around the world, and is definitely the place to go. Cost of living is high here, but the luxurious standards of living here match the price.

Other islands which can’t be left out are Barbados, the Cayman islands, St. Barthélemy, and Antigua. It’s a shame to leave out any more, but a tourist who can get to all of these places should consider himself or herself lucky.

Places to Stay

Nearly all of these exotic islands boasts a range of luxury vacation rentals that offer all the comfort and services that a visitor could need. You won’t have to rough it during this vacation, as a stay in one of these villas, though costly, will certainly be something to talk about when you get home.
